- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chocolate chips (or more, to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
- Combine dry ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Add chocolate chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
