Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add cream and Parmesan: Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Combine with chicken: Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice.
